I think I’m understimulated, physically. I need to be touched more, hugged more, kissed more. I’m not talking sexually, because (not to be egotistical) I can get that any ol’ time I feel like it. I just need more loving, physically. I think maybe that’s the most important part of human interaction… maybe.

you may be on to something.
I remember a while back hearing of a study that found people who have regular affectionate contact with other human beings tend to live longer on average — the study seemed to differentiate between purely sexual contact and nonsexual contact, suggesting the latter had more positive effects than the former.
it made sense to me, so I figured there might be something to it.
stumbled across your blog, and this post. you are absolutely right… this something you talk about is a hormone in your body called “oxytocin”… it is aptly nicknamed “the love hormone”. this is what emotionally, mentally and physically bonds a couple long after the honeymoon phase is gone.
the human body is fascinating isn’t it?
