We sit back, kick our feet up,
staring
at their trials.
Saying, “too bad, so sad…”
make movies while they suffer,
drink a Bud while they starve,
laugh while they have no liquid in their body to drop a tear.
We fight for the rights of the unborn,
worry about the cure for cancer,
when all they want is just one more day to [...]
